Three chances to become a Parish Councillor    26 November, 2018

There are three vacancies on the Parish Council, which will be filled by co-option at the Parish Council meeting on 12th February.

We are looking for people with plenty of enthusiasm, time to spare and lots of energy to direct towards the variety of exciting projects we are developing - it's a chance to make a real contribution to the village's facilities and the vitality of our community..

Candidates will need to be able to receive and study documents that are circulated electronically, and be able to discuss matters with colleagues by e-mail. The Parish Council meets monthly, usually on the second Tuesday in the month, and all Councillors are required to attend.

If you are interested in applying, we’d like to hear why you want to be a Parish Councillor and what experience, skills and qualities you could bring to the role.

Application forms can be downloaded from this website (see below). The closing date for applications is 6.00pm on Tuesday 5th February 2019. (The deadline has been extended by a few days so we can put a final reminder in the next Over News.)

Completed application forms can be sent electronically to overparishclerk@hotmail.co.uk or by post to Over Parish Clerk, c/o The Community Centre, The Doles, Over, Cambs CB24 5NW.
